Fabulous Fall

Happy Fall, Y'all! Kyle and I love fall...October, specifically. It's Kyle's birthday month, the weather is changing, there are fall festivals and outdoor activities that don't have to take place in the blazing heat, and excitement starts building for the upcoming holidays. If I was a poet, I would write an Ode to October.

We started off October celebrating Kyle's thirty-something birthday on the 6th. We had to take a moment and do some counting to figure out how old he actually was. He said he was turning 34, but I was right...he is just 33. Our little friend Cody had his first birthday on the same day, so we got to party with some really cute little people.

Today we took Eli to a pumpkin patch in Lubbock. He had a good time. His favorite part, of course, was the tractor that pulled the hay ride. I think he would have had a great time if it wasn't so far past his nap time. We may try again at a different place next weekend, because I can't get enough of pumpkin patches!

Very determined to make it through the hay maze

Pick of the Patch...and the pumpkin

Oops...Kyle hit Eli in the face while trying to rope a fake cow

Making peace with the rope and cow

Worn out buddy
