Baby in the Bluebonnets

I spent many Easters down in the Texas Hill Country at my grandparents' house. I can't tell you how many pictures there are of me and my cousins in the bluebonnets! It was special to get to do the same thing with Elijah this year. I heart these pictures. 

Spring Break 2012

This year for Spring Break , Eli and I went on a whirlwind tour of our Texas relatives. We were in Ft. Worth for two nights, Brenham for two nights, Houston for one evening, back to Ft. Worth for two nights, then home. Whew! But it was really nice to see everyone and let my sweet little guy spend some quality time with his Oma and Papa. We made a stop in College Station, of course, to eat at the Dixie Chicken and buy Eli some much needed maroon.

Ready, Set, Go!

Lots has happened since I posted last! Most notably, we now have a crawler! Eli started crawling at the end of February, the week he turned 8 months old, and he hasn't slowed down since! This phase takes some extra diligence on my part, but I have to say I think it's pretty cute watching him go and explore. He has also learned how to open cabinets and drawers. I took these pictures to mark his first pair of new shoes, but they also show him on the move! You may also notice two bottom teeth - those came in the middle of January.
